I'm thinking the same thing.
Too much cant in the scope rail and you may not be able to shoot at 100 yards or less.
If your young you have time to grow into long range,just practice to get consistent hit's at ranges you hunt.
Pretty sure we covered this in this thread already. A rail angle that is half of your scope's internal elevation will still allow you to zero at 100 yards.

I do reload and plan on setting up a load that this rifle likes.

I'm getting ready to turn 59 years old but this is my first attempt at ELR shooting.
