My first long range rifle build is all being delivered in various shipments over the next few days. I have a few question but first, here's the setup I decided on: Remington 700 Sendero SF II .300 Win Mag Vortex PST 6-24x50 FFP MRAD EBR2C reticle Seekins 20 MOA Rail Seekins .87” Matched Rings Harris Bipod 6-9” Swivel, Notched FTW Sling FTW Rear Bag Pelican 1750 Case The questions I am left with after reading countless articles and watching many videos... To break in the barrel or not? After reading this article/post it brings up a lot of good points and makes me question the how and why would I break in a barrel. Proper Cleaning Kit - Will the Dewey 30 Cal kit cover all my bases properly? Any other recommendations or thoughts? Last but certainly not least, Ammo. I am on a budget and looking for quality factory ammo that is not going to kick me in the balls every time I pull out my wallet to buy it. Let's say $40 a box, $2 a round give or take a few cents. What would you recommend?
