First Build

I realize that this is the wrong spot for this thread, but for some reason I cannot post on the GUN PICS forum.

I dunno if I could call this a build or not.

I built it off of a stevens 200 action

It has:

Choate Tactical Stock
CDI drop mag system
Comp Recoil lug
Select Match Shilen Barrel .223 1:8
EG 20MOA base
Millett TRS-1 (might switch to my Vortex Viper)
Some Paint

Im probably leaving some stuff out, but oh well....... Had lots of fun putting it together

Have not got a change to shoot it yet. Got some 75gr A-Max ready to hit the range (which is closed for maintence.

This first build rifle looks great. You have good taste! I am actually wanting to do the same build but in .300WM. I need a Stevens/Savage action and the stock, then I'll be good to go. I bought the extra barrel to swap onto my Savage 110 FP but I think I'll just build a second rifle. You did a great job and I hope to have one just like it here soon.
