Firearm regulation and the Constitution

I might have posted on here, my views as I see them concerning the alleged Sandy Hook killings. I've become very active in the blatant attack on our Constitution so I've posted on many sites, both for and against, the authors observatioins are mine as well, or at least are based on as much data as I can obtain.

I say 'alleged' because the actual facts as presented by the media, fly in the face of truth. The kids and educators were indeed killed, but by whom and for what and of utmost importance for what gain?

Good read I might add. Parallels my thinking, almost to a tee.

Remember, stay focused and above all, it's 'we' not 'me'. No matter how it impacts you personally, it impacts all of us, fitrearms owners or not.

It's either a bad link, got pulled or it irked someone because it's not there.

I don't think it was staged in that sense of the word. There are too many descripancies in the accounts made by the survivors, the ME, the LE and eye witnesses to make in 100% believeable.

I believe it happened, I also believe some parts were doctored prior to public viewing for sensational content.

I think the American people prefer the facts and not conjecture. problem is, we will never know the facts because the government don't want us to.

According to what I've read, Biden is supposed to present his findings to Obama on Tuesday, at which time Obama will (act-react) to the issues. I read in the paper this evening (Toldeo Blade) that any laws that Obama wants to inact, such as a ban on high capacity magazines, banning Assualt type firearms, so on and so forth must be approved by Congress. Thats partially true and partially false.

Keep in mind that Obama can make instant and irrevocable law with an Executive Order, something he may do. IMO, that would be a bad move politically but I also believe his ego overshadows his rationale.....

From the original Huffington newspaper report:

"The gunman drove to the school in his mother's car, the second official said. Three guns were found — a Glock and a Sig Sauer, both pistols, inside the school, and a .223-caliber rifle in the back of a car."

Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting: Newtown, Connecticut Administrators, Students Among Victims, Reports Say

NO ASSAULT WEAPON used.

I had asked that question time and time again.

So, where did the report that an AR15 was used come from anyway?

What was found in the trunk wasn't a rifle at all. It was a pump action shotgun. I had the video on my screen, watched it 3 times the last time with a magnifying glass to make sure. I watched the LEO clear it by racking the forestock and it spit shells, unmistakeably shout shells, out the side port.

I don't own an AR but I've been around them enough to know that the cocking-decocking lever is on the side, not the forestock.

BTW, the video was pulled, I can't find it anywhere.

Obama is using the AR BS as a means to advance his agenda, thats the simple fact.

Read the next post. I'm quoting former Attorney General Edwin Meeks....

From Former AG Edwin Meese this afternoon......

......Ed Meese: Obama Risks 'Impeachment' With Executive Order on Guns
Former U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese III declares in an exclusive Newsmax TV interview that President Barack Obama could easily be impeached if he bypassed Congress and enacted gun-control legislation by executive order — a step Obama said he was "confident" was "within his authority." But Meese, who served under President Reagan, says it would not be legal or constitutional: "If he tried to override the Second Amendment in any way, it would be an impeachable offense." ........

I stated this a while ago, The only avenue for any President that commits malfeasance in office is impeachment. If he proclaims by Executive Order to impose hardship on the general public or in any way compromises the Coonstitutiion, the only avenue of adjudication is impeachment.

Only problem is we get 'Good Ole Boy Biden'.........

Stay foucused and stay united.......

I find it way more than interesting!!!

OMG!!
Game on gentlemen... the govt. already has 'civil unrest holding compounds' erected in several states...

like the saying goes...

'the only requirement for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing'...

FYI.. as a side note from Afghanistan.. which is where I am right now.. do you know how the US Army is saving money over here??? BY NOT FEEDING THEIR SOLDIERS! Yep, it's true. Effective 1 Jan breakfast was stopped being served at all bases except those commanded by a general officer. So.. out here in the boonies at my little FOB we can't even get coffee in the morning. The Army decided to FIRE all night shift dining facility workers and to stop serving breakfast as a means to cut down on costs. For breakfast we have to sneak food out of the dining facility during lunch and dinner to eat the next morning.... not even coffee, man that's some crap!! I know Clinton hated the Army, seems like it's been passed down.

Doc

Wow Doc! I am truly sorry to hear that and I will be writing letters on that as well. Thanks for letting us know what is going on, and thanks for your service!!!

And, what the crap, civil unrest holding facilities = concentration camps! ***!

The people should not have to fear their government I believe in quite the opposite actually. If this executive order ******** does go through I **** near will have lost all faith in what we call our gov.

Actually the camps were built by FEMA as 'natural disaster relocation camps', with multiple strand razor wire, 20' high security fences topped with inward slanted razor wire, security towers, isolated and secure locations. Several have been built in several states over the last 4 years, just sitting there idle waiting... scary!

Sorry for shifting the topic... I'm done!

oh... beware of the new 20% Value Added Tax (VAT) that's coming too! Socialism brought to you by your brainwashed populace.. oh my.

Doc

My Internet business deals with a lot of European customers so I'm very aware of the VAT Value Added Tax Its imposed on goods bought by people in the EU. I's a commonly accepted practice there and in Canada BTW.

Taxes are all about supporting the government and providing entitlement programs, the unfunded entitlement in this country has reached unmanageable levels. The only way to fund that is more taxes, more taxes on the middle and upper classes because people at the poverty level are the people receiving the entitlement in the first place. We tend to forget that the end game finan cially, is 'leveling the playing field', that is, taking from those that have it and worked for it and giving it to those who didn't work for it and have no desire to. Thatt is the essence of entitlement. Basically taxiation without representation. We dumped Tea in the Boston Harbor over that very same issue long ago.

I was at work today so I only got bits and pieces of Obama's proposals but they appear to be very 'watered down' from the origibal balls out attack on the First, Second and Fourteenth Amendments.

I believe that One, there has been a tremendous amount of pressure brought to bear from letter writing by constituents (like us) to Congressional Representatives dunning Obama. Western States in particular stand to loose millions in revenue if sport hunting was curtailed or hampered by an second Amendment attack. I, for one would not want to have to obtain 'permission' from each state I carried ny rifles through on the way to a hunt out west or even consider 'renting' a gun from an outfitter because I would be prohibited by law from transporting my own rifle to hunt with. Not withstanding, even if the outfitters would be allowed to have 'rental' guns.

The implications are horrible.

I believe Obama carefully considered the Honorable Edwin Meese's statement (and others) to the effect that any infringement on the Constitution via Executive Order that imposes hardship on the people was grounds for impeachment (an impeachable offense). Thats pretty strong words coming from the former AG. Plus, from what I understand, there is an ongoing movement on the part of some legislators, both democrat and Republican, moving toward impeachment hearings anyway.

I believe quite a few lawmakers in both parties have had a belly full of Obama's shenanigans.

I have for one.

Don't back down now, keep writing your Congressmen and Representatives and Obama. We need to stand united in our views against any attack on the Constitution, not just the Second Amendment.
