I just built a couple of long range bangers. In need to fine tune my loads for SD and ES. What variables do you find have a greater impact on SD. What are your thought on lee factory crimp dies.

not
the only place it would be useful is where mag length ammo was not near the lands.
why would you build in that problem.
and maybe describe rifle and chamberings

its going to depend on lots of things and your going to get differing opinions depending on what has worked for them in the past---- perfecting lr loads and minimizing es and sd can go deep into a rat hole

some people:
neck turn, anneal, change primers, change neck tension, change dies, neck size only, fl size only, neck size and bump die, neck size and body die, crimp, don't crimp, custom ground dies to your chamber/brass, keep run out to a minimum, weight sort brass, weight sort bullets, volume sort brass, weight sort primers, sort bullets by ogive length, barrel cleaning preferences, double weigh charges, change powder, etc, etc, etc

remember 2 things: accurate consistency is accuracy, and perfect practice makes perfect
