I wasn't planning on bedding the receiver into the chassis. Any reason I should re-think that? I've never known anyone who bedded an action into a chassis.

I had a clamp on brake from Witt Machine on the previous barrel. I liked it a lot and figured to upgrade on the new barrel but, then i had the suppressor idea so now I'm not sure. Although I don't know enough about either brakes or silencers.
Breaks are loud and suppressors are more ear-friendly.

Well, I got my rifle back from the smith. Turn around time was impressive. I got it back in about 3 weeks, certainly less than a month.

Hopefully it shoots as good as it looks.
Nice looking rifle. I'm sure it will shoot great. Now start saving up money for another custom build as you have been bit!

Well, got a chance to shoot the refinished rifle. this is a 3 shot group with factory ammo at 100m. Ammo was Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr SMK.

Subtract bullet diameter and you're well under 1/2 moa...nice job!!!!
