All I can say is you won't be disappointed for a non commercial round i resize 25/06 brass (the brass is inexpensive) and usually available and that's why I didn't build a 6.5 PRC if you can find brass your going to pay for it

Almost bought a Cooper Backcountry in 6.5-06 this summer. Might just rebarrel one of my older Rem 700 rifles. I already have 25-06 brass left over from a Savage that I sold. So many fun cartridges, only so much time, the life of a rifle addict…

I'm an old Whitetail hunter, 80 next month. No children so I'm down to 3 rifles now. A original Model 600 BRNO CZ in .270, A Model 7MS.257 Roberts and a LAW Professional Model in 6.5 Creedmoor. Usually bring two with me and decide when I head out.

I'm right there with you. I have a 1951 .270 Win M70 that I'm outfitting with a fast twist 20" barrel and having Chad @ LRI run through. Gonna run some 150gn solids and that's gonna be my "go to" for the majority of my Hunting.

I always bring two rifles on my whitetail pilgrimages; a short range rifle and a LR rig. This year I'll be shooting my trusty 45-70 while in the woods (in the mornings) and will be using my 6.5 PRC for hunting the fields before sunset.

Whenever I hunt out-of-state I always have 2-3 rifles.

So many, but, I'd have to say as an out and out Deer rifle and the one that I shot my biggest Whitetail buck with, hunting in Winchester Idaho, well... it's my Winchester 1894 .30 WCF circa 1942 and it's mint as well accurate as all get out for a lever rifle using 170gr FN bullets. What can I say; just call me old school. Cheers

Mine is an old Remington M700, my brother shoots an old Win 70. They do the trick! Both are 30-06

Dad bought us rifles for our 16th birthdays. Still hanging on to them today.
