favorite barrel maker for .284

Buddy is building a 280AI on a remington sporter profile going into an HS precision stock. My most recent builds have all been 257 and 264 calibers. If you were building a 280AI on a rem sporter profile, is there a particular barrel maker who is better than the rest for 7mm? Probably a pretty fine line, but wanted to ask. He is planning on 140 to 160 grain projectiles.

I don't think any of the well known barrel makers are much better than any other.

Brux has really been making a name for themselves lately. I'd base my decision on lead time more than anything else.
