Family Beaver Hunt

I finally found my wife a fluted stainless tikka in 22-250, she was excited to try it out so we took the kids and went beaver hunting and had a little picnic with them. Pretty enjoyable evening and she even got to shoot two beavers with her new rifle.
After trying a bunch of rifles though, her opinion was why would anyone want something other than a tikka or a sako lol

Up North it's usually trapping. Shooting is normally frowned upon. At least the traps work 24/7, and are quieter.

Lol I'm north of you.
Our municipality has a bounty on beavers, and we are hunting on our own property where the noise can only bother us so Frown away from your perch and we will keep hunting beavers any fashion we so choose
