Hi there!

I have not purchase factory ammo for years. Yesterday the guy at the gun shop gave me a box of Hornady Custom ammo. It's 180 interbond 300 holland&holland.

Later I checked the rounds and they have cannelure (like SST bullets).

Maybe a "bad" batch of ammo... or Hornady is producing interbonds with cannelure?

Cheers

I’ve seen Nosler Accubonds with cannelures, when they normally don’t have them.

I guess it’s possible Hornady made some Interbonds that way. I’ve just never seen them. Why not call them up on Monday. I find their tech support fairly helpful.

I’ve found it’s Common to see cannelure on the same bullet when comparing factory ammo to what us reloader’s receive - at least this has been my experience with Nosler offerings.
