Factory 7mm ammo

I've always had good results with Federal ammo. They have a load with the 160 Nosler Accubond that has 1548 foot lbs. of energy at 600 yards at 5000 feet elevation. It is probably what I would try. Nosler bullets usually aren't too finicky and shoot well in many rifles. It is a premium bonded bullet that would hold up well on an elk's shoulder. I shoot the 160 AB in my 7RM but they are handloads. They shoot pretty well.

I have heard good things about the HSM ammo with the Berger 168 VLD's...But no personal experience.

I handload for my 7mmRM's using Berger 168 VLD's...Hits deer like a lightning bolt.

I just started reloading but my Tikka T3 Super lite 7mm RM really likes the Barnes Vortex ammo in 140 and 150 TTSX.... 3/4 MOA
