This is #4 of 4 Dakota rifles for sale for a good cause.

This rifle is a Dakota Model 76 that is not available unless perhaps it is a special order, but is a very well balanced and fantastically accurate 22-250. Its barrel is 23 1/4" long and slightly heavier than a regular sporter barrel. I obtained it several years ago from the estate of a gentleman who had ordered it from Dakota and had passed away before he could shoot it. I would say I have run between 250-300 rounds through it since I bought it.

The wood is graded "AAA" and is in great shape with a few handling marks. They are pretty minor, the most visible is on the cheek piece which I tried to get to show a bit in the pictures ( which should be posted sometime tonight).

The cheek piece has a shadowline contour and the stock is nicely accented with an ebony forend.

It has Talley rings and bases
It has a checkered bolt handle, and a "widow's peak" checkered steel butt plate.

This is a tremendous gun, I will put it up against virtually any custom for accuracy and for sure in workmanship ( Built during Don Allen's era). You won't find better! I'll consider offers.

Someone is missing the boat on this gun. Incredibly accurate, super resale value, fantastic action...not to mention the look and feel of a really fine custom quality rifle. I sincerely hate to sell it and the money won't be going into another gun or related item. If you're a rifle guy you owe it to yourself to check this gun out.
