Extreme Spread?

Be careful...I too have a .300 Win mag. In my search for a load, I wanted to use the 185 Berger and I used H-1000. I got my load down to 80.7grains and had extreme spread of 10 and the SD was 6. My next load was 80.9 grains, the extreme spread was 7 and the SD was 3. BUT!!! My group opened up to about 2 inches??? Still not sure what happened there but if you group well and have low extreme spread...below 20 and low SD's...single digits...you might very well be there. My opinion....
