I am turning my Weatherby Vanguard into my first custom rifle. Kirby is accurizing and re-barreling with a 27 Lijla and Joel is building a laminate stock. Even though I am a couple months away, I am starting to think about loads. In the past, I have used IMR4350 for 300WM but I would like to get into one of Hodgon's Extreme powders for the new rifle.

Does anyone have experience using H1000, H4831, or H4350 with 180 grain Accubonds in 300 WM? Other suggestions?

Thanks guys.

In my 300 win 180 Accubonds w/80gr of H-1000 and Fed 215M will shoot .5 if I am on. I have shot smaller but I guess even a blind squirrel.....
I have been messing with RL 22 but I am going back to that load or even 81 gr. My rifle also likes 76.5 gr w/ 200 Accu. Velocities for the 180's were in the 2900's I am not sure exactly I don't have my notes in front of me

I use 76 grains of H4831sc and 210m primers with 180 gr accubonds.
This load dose well with sst,or nosler ballistic tips also.

But my best groups have been with 77gr H4831sc with 165gr ab's @100 can put a dime to cover the hole.Thats if i'm haveing a good shooting day

81 Grains of H-1000 works great in my 300 Win with 180 grain bullets
This group was shot at 425 yards with 180 grain TSX and H-1000

H-1000 gives me very good consistency with single digit Extreme Spreads
