Excessive pressure with old hand loads

Using a very clean case that has had light case lube for expander ball smooth operation has been my ticket for never having this issue.

Is this a liquid lube or powdered graphite?

My neighbor has this problem and he rectified it by just setting the bullets back by .005 and this broke the bond between bullet and case plus they shot great for him. You could try to partial pull the bullet and then resetting them to the original Cartridge length and try a group.

Goes on liquid, evaporates in a minute and leaves a light lube, Its cableas standard case lube.

Cold weather can have adverse effects on powders also.

Try searching the web for your particular powder with cold temps, I'm not sure if I remember correctly but I think I have read that people were having pressure problems with H-1000 or the like in cold temps.
