Hey all, looking to get a spotting scope for this hunting season. I have a low budget due to other expenses, around $200. I was looking at the Alpen 15-45x60mm or 20-60x60mm and the Redfield 20-60x60mm. These two seen to have the best reviews in my price range. But I know almost nothing about spotting scopes so please feel free to enlighten me or steer me in the direction of other options in my price range.

Bought a Redfield Rampage a couple years ago because of the reviews and honestly it's a great scope! Not sure how much you'll be spotting but if your looking at hunting purposes I feel a good pair of 15x binos may be a better choice.

Been thinking about selling my spotting scope to get a good pair of binos just not sure yet.

I bought the red field 20-60x80 and I am very happy with it. Good glass for 329 bucks.
Here is a picture of a building at 1344 on 60 power.
