Just opening up a barrel channel of a McMillan Hunters Edge isn't going to really hurt it, right (provided it is within reason...this is a barrel contour similar to a Douglas #3, which Stockys says is the max)? Once I remove that material, do I just coat it with the bedding material and call it good?
