BUYER: Elk guide 45 - Bad Transaction

Sold him multiple reloading dies. Ended up shipping them prior to receiving payment (my mistake) as I was leaving town for a week and didnt want the dies to be delayed. Checked his feedback and he had good stats from credible LRH users so I took the risk.

He claims he sent a check back in Dec 2020 but I never received payment. He stopped all communication on January 5th.

I tried to seek him out in general forums to make sure he is ok but he continues to ghost me and other users have been in contact with him since. He had issues with other sellers as well. I contacted other members who had interaction with him on this forum and heard similar stories.

I am out money and my dies that I shipped to him trying to be a nice guy.

Would not recommend dealing with this guy.

Yeah,
Hated to leave the neg feedback but gave him 2 months to make it right. Reached out to other users who dealt with him trying to see if he was ok thinking something happened. He's probably a good guy but I was always told "Right is right, and the rest is ********"

This one is tough to stomach for me. I've made multiple transactions with rifles, barrels and components with him and every one of them has been top notch. I've sent things bundled in packages even before payment and received payment when he said he would send it. I know just enough about his schedule to know he's out of cell service most days. I can't account for your experience and I won't dispute it, but I definitely wouldn't consider him a con.

I've shipped a lot lately before actually receiving payment, and ship once the buyer let's me know when they post the USPS check and trust them at their word. Everything I sent so far is <$100. If it was more, I'd probably wait until I received the payment in hand.

I get now why some sellers have posted a paper with their screen name on them next to the items listed.

Being out of cell service for a few days is one thing unless he's pushing daisy's this amount of time is unexcusable, when there's a will theres a way.
