Elk at 910 yds

congrats to you and your dad.that's the kind of post we all want to read and of course want to post ourselves. good stuff.

glad to hear the 250SMK worked well, i'm also using them this year.

Nice shooting and nice bulls! Can I assume those are Roosevelts due to the geographical location and the crowning on the right antler of your bull?

Sam

We hunt in northeast oregon so these are rocky mt. elk. 200 miles tothe west is where the roosevelts are. My bull was a weird non-typical, we had never ever seen one like that so I decided I better take him, he is 52 inches wide.

Traks nice to hear a hunting story like this from someone in my own town! Thats a great bull. Great shot. That Heppener country sure looks steep. Lots of work I bet. You guys got it figured out.
