So just got letter stating I will be charged a$39 administrative fee plus my actual medical charges. So is the new wave? I had a cardiologist quit from Obumocare bureaucracy so here we go again.

Sounds illegal to me. How about a comfort fee to sit in his waiting room? Recreation fee for the TV or stereo playing? Maybe an inflation adjustment fee?

Cheaper than the ADM FEE at car dealerships….ridiculous.
Hard not to laugh but so true. 10% above the Sticker Price at almost all dealers.
So if they are late for my appt should I charge them my consulting fee rate of $120/hr? Why not?

Has anyone looked at there power bill . The are more fees than what you use for power
Fees are used to supplement taxes, unit charges, and anything else that cannot be tied to an insurance coverage or regulated by an agency.
So I was reviewing my insurance and the charging of this fee may be breach of contract with my insurance and doctor. Will be talking to insurance carrier tomorrow.
Wife says you need to start by asking exactly what are the administrative fees for!
