Different long range cartridges

I'd like to hear about the pluses and minuses of different long range cartridges in .270 and smaller. I cannont find info on 25 stw either. What do you shoot? I am more a fan of obsquire stuff so a 6-284 puts me off a little being as more common wildcat. But I know nothing abour it either.

Go to the Lilja barrel site and read his article on LR hunting. Will cover many of the cartridges suitable.

There is also lots of info on the net if you do google searches. Mag like Rifleshooter and Handloader will give info on some of the more obsure wildcats.

Of course, you can look at reloading manuals like Nosler #5 and the new Lee for lots of load data that can apply to your wildcat if the case volume and cal are similar.
