Did some rockchuck hunting today

Say the outside to outside group is .400, well if your shooting a .224" bullet, you have to subtract that diameter. so that would be a .176" group. Get it? Yah it looks pretty much like 1 oblong hole.
 
WEll if you know your history, you know the .222 was designed as a benchrest caliber. Its a very accurate caliber. People that have one know this. It dominated BR for around 20 years untill the PPC's came out. Thats why I wanted one instead of the .223. Something different, plus its more accurate. I get groups in the .1's to .2's very regularly out of my sporter weight ADL remington. Nothing fancy about it, just trigger job, good reloads, and the **** thing just shoots bugholes with its preferred loads. IT rarely shoots over .5" with loads it doesn't like.
