When I told my wife that I was buying each of my daughters diamonds for Christmas I got a strange look. I picked up two diamond infinite edge bows and I am very impressed with how easy they adjusted and the performance.

I warn you................. young boys like young girls that hunt!!!! Glad to see kids out shooting...anything!

Both my girls are going to a 6 session archery class. My younger daughter already told me she wants to hunt elk with a bow and mule deer with a muzzle loader. It looks like the Diamond is the way I am going to go with her so the bow can grow with her. The older daughter told me she wants a crossbow or she will stick with the muzzle loader.

How far down can you adjust the draw weight?

I have 3 daughters the oldest is 9 but they are pretty small framed. However my 5 year old got a bow with suction cup arrows for Christmas this year. She will probably want to upgrade soon.

Teachem to shoot good and the boys might be intimidated.

It will adjust from 5-70 pounds and 13-30 inch draw length. It seems to be a bow that they can grow with. One good thing is that you don't need a bow press to adjust it either.

My daughterinlaw just got the Diamond Infinte Edge. Seems like a good quality bow.

My only noted concern: seems the let off isn't what they claim.

Her bow is set to 40# and a 26" draw. Let off seems like it's closer to 50% or even less.

I suspect that at longer draw (29"-30") it would be closer to the spec'd 75% as then the cam would roll over more thus giving higher let off.

I have bought four of these for my granddaughters, 5-11 years old. It is amazing the amount of adjustment. I did notice that the let off did change when adjusted to short draw length, I agree with the cam rollover idea.

Two of my Son's have out fitted their Wive's with Diamonds. I've shot them and really like them. Very adaptable and easy to adjust. The onyl thing I didn't care for is the grips, really noisy, but that's easy to remedy.

I started my boy's, all (5) of them with God and hunting in their lives at a very early age, and you know, all of them have turned out to be respectable young men. No drugs, no issues with the law. Your making a good choice by keeping them involved in your life, and sharing the wonderful experience of hunting in the great outdoors.

Hope to hear about their first game taken too!

God Bless!
