This rifle represents several firsts for me. My first defiance, first carbon barrel, first rifle weighing so little.
She just arrived yesterday....and boy am I excited.

I feel for you having to wait, but it is fun to think about what's coming your way.
I got extremely lucky with mine. I've gotten to know the builder well over the yrs and have had several of their rifles and smokeless muzz. Several yrs ago my business went through a really rough spot, and I had to sell most of my nice rifles and scopes.....and a piece of land, etc., but I won't dwell.
I had a muzz hunt coming up in Iowa and did not own a muzz. The builder's owner sold me his personal smokeless, which was 6mos old, scope and all, and worked with me on paying for it. That's proof that there are good people in this hunting community.
Anyway, they had a customer who ordered this rifle (the one I just bought) and had to bail out shortly before it was ready. They could have listed it online and sold it for their normal retail price. Instead they called me and offered it up at the customary 10% off for existing customers. I even got to pick the stock colors. My wait time, from the day I found out about it until it was in my hands, was less than 30 days.
I tell that story to show the good side of some businesses. Usually people don't make the news unless they've really screwed someone or done something illegal or corrupt.
So I hope to have some range time soon, it's been raining everyday, and would be shocked if the loads they sent w/ the rifle shoot over .5" at 100.....usually it's half that.

finally got it to the range....I won't complain about any group inside 1/2".....I'm sure the rifle is more accurate than my shooting.
Next trip is somewhere I can start to stretch it out a little.
