Decided to sell my first custom rifle. This rifle was built by Defensive Edge Gunsmithing in Idaho in 2011. I upgraded the bottom metal and stock on the rifle and Axis works in Tempe, AZ bedded the action in the new stock. It is a left handed 300 RUM. Around 8lb 14oz.
-Manners EH1 stock swamp color 13.5 LOP
-Unknown Munitions bottom metal and 3 round 3.950" magazine
-Timney trigger 2.25lbs
-Hart 30" sendero fluted barrel 1-10 twist
-DE 4 port muzzle break
-Hawkins bipod rail on stock and precision hardcore gear bubble level 20MOA rail that was bedded to action
-Action is machined to accept 4" Wyatt's box
-Rifle has 219 rounds through it.
The load is 86.5 grains of H1000, ADG brass, CCI 250, with a 230 Berger hybrid. 3050FPS. 3.060CBTO/3.83COAL. Rifle chamber measures 3.070 CBTO. This rifle is a 1/4-1/2MOA rifle and based on the targets in the pictures below this load is very repeatable.
The muzzle of the rifle by the threads and muzzle break have browning due to the cerakote getting too hot when the muzzle break was removed by. The muzzle break has areas where the cerakote came off when trying to remove the muzzle break to put a suppressor mount on the rifle.
