This rifle began as a custom I picked up for a great price that a guy never finished. I put it in an MDT XRS and mounted a Vortex PST and it shot everything I put in it into tiny groups.
I have a habit of switching things up, but now that this one has stuck around, I wanted to put it on a diet and finish the rifle.
I upgraded the scope to the Vortex Razor LHT 4.5-22, and swapped the stock to the MDT HNT26. I had the barrelled action ceracoated tungsten.
Finished weight dropped from almost 16# down to a much lighter 10.8#. It still shoots better than I can. Predator season just opened, and deer season kicks off an a few weeks.
It's be a lot nicer to carry this year.
