I just purchased a vz24 with ER443 stamped on the receiver and bolt. It has the crest on the top of the receiver and some numbers that look like they were buffed out but end in a 3. My guess is it might be a Romanian made weapon manufactured in 1943?? Any help on I.D. would be appreciated. Also would like to know what the value is. It is in pretty good shape and I figured on using the action for a custom build. Thanks/Rich

I did some more research after my post and it appears that I do have a czech rifle made for the Romanian army probably in 1939 or 1940. I would still like to hear from anyone with any knowledge of these rifles. I know they are considered a good action for a builder........Rich
