I thought i would show off a new project.
Nice little rifle. I love all my CZ's.
I'm curious though why do you use the extremely high riser rails?
I think you'd have far better results with a much lower mount.
Its not just a riser. it is an adjustable base. This gun will be topped off with a vortex 6-24x50mm and the lowest rings that will work when they arrive.
I started to say i have one just like it until i saw the second picture.
How many hundred yards do you intend to shoot ?
I do have a cz style though -i gave it a bedding job that turned out great -brookies trigger and a set of burris signature rings w/offset inserts..
The stocks on these rifles are very nice -not a flimsy piece of plastic like you might think.
as far as i can. ha ha. I shoot my cz 452 scout out to 500 yards
Lots of trigger time for cheap....
Are you going to put a cheek rest on it? I wouldn't even be able to get a piece of my cheek on that and still be able to see though the scope. Or am I misunderstanding the use of the adjustable base?
i put that mount and scope on there just to see how it would look. it will be set up normaly
i love my CZ 452, i just put the trigger lighting kit in mine and now its got a much nicer let off.
Just finished up this project and man it looks good to me!
How do you like the Vortex? Thought about that one for my .22LR.
Have not used it yet but that glass looks nice and clear
Get out there and shoot that thing. Let us know how it goes!gun)
If everything works out. tomorrow i will take it out
