Hey lady's and gents, just got my glass mounted on my first custom rifle build. Thought i'd post a photo with some specs.
I sent my stock Savage Model 111 off to Jerry at Mystic Precision in Summerland, British Columbia for a bit of a revamp, and here's what came back.
-Barrel is a Mcgowan Savage prefit, varmint contour, chambered in .270win, 1-10 twist, 6 flutes and finished at 24in with a recessed target crown.
-smooth barrel nut replaced with Mcgowan slotted nut
-Jerry replaced the savage recoil lug with a thicker Mystic Precision lug
-bolt timed
-action bedded into a Choate Tactical stock
-detachable magazine guts installed into the stock for a blind mag finish
-trigger is the factory Savage Accutrigger
-EGW 0-MOA scope base
-TPS HRT med rings
-Vortex Viper HS 4-16
