For sale is my custom rebarreled Sako 75
*Stainless steel Sako 75 action
*Brux 25" #4 contour barrel. 1/10 twist with skip fluting
*Action, barrel, bottom metal and magazine were Black Oxide finished.
*Barrel chambered and installed by Northern Precision Arms (Harrold Fredd)

*Jeweled Bolt....super smooth action
*McMillan Sako 75 stock with palm swell. Aluminum pillars. Fit and bedded by TM Stockworks (Tom Meredith)
*stock was Hydro dipped with ATACS-AU
* NEAR Manufacturing scope mount converts the receiver to a Picatinny rail. Strong and more choices for your favorite rings!( $200 rail)
** Approximately 200 rounds through barrel. Shoots factory Nosler 190 LR Accubonds, Hornady 200 grain ELD-x and Barnes 165 TTSX at .5"
I actually struggled with selling this because it shoots so well and we know we don't tend to get close to what we put into these. Bottom line is I have several rifles that shoot well and a few in the same power category so I am going to let this one go.

I have over $3500 in this rifle

Price: $2000 (Final price lowered to $1850 shipped to your FFL!!!!!)

A muzzle brake is possible obviously but a suppressor would be questionable as most say that a .725 to .750 is what is needed in a .30 cal so there is enough shoulder for the suppressor to butt up against. Many thread options for a brake though. Never did it because frankly I never felt the need. Always an option to add one. Because the barrel is black oxide, which is a metal bluing for stainless, there is no worry that the coating would come off when removing the barrel, as it is not a coating its a metal reaction that makes it black.

Bump for a beautiful rifle
I have basically the same one (Sako 75, same McMillan stock, same Near Pic rail) but mine still has it's original barrel. Light and easy to hump up and down mountains when hunting elk. They are tack drivers, too. You gave me a good idea on what barrel to get when it's time to replace it. Good luck with the sale
