Rem 700 action in 6mm-06
Fluted bolt
SS Douglas XX air guaged barrel--sporter contour w/target crown
Rem Titanium series stock (B&C) textured black paint w/silver flecks
Old style Rem 700 gunsmith tuned trigger( breaks real nice)
Leupold DD 1" rings--lapped
For those not familiar, The 6-06 is a hair faster than the 240 Wby, only not nearly as expensive to shoot. I neck down 25-06 brass in one pass. Very simple. No neck turning or anything else.
Approx. 650 rds down tube. Stock has been opened up for a magnum contour barrel, which I never got around to installing. It still shoots 1.5" @ 100yds as is. Front scope base is shimmed with aluminum (This has never affected the accuracy of the rifle, I just want to be honest in my depiction). So it needs a little work. Either a new tube and/ or bedding job. That's it. In being so, I will price it right @ $750 shipped. That price will include a $115 set of as new Redding custom dies. For $350 more, with purchase of rifle, the Leupold VXII (not Vari-xII) 4-12x40 AO German #4 in the last pic ($450)can be had. Thanks.........
