Custom Rem 700 long action chambered in 6.5-284
Blue printed action
krieger 1 in 8" twist barrel light palma contour 28"long
chambered with a .297 no turn neck and throated for long 142gr bullets.
BDL bottom metal
all metal work is Cerakoted graphite black
currently sits in an HS precision sendero stock
Rifle weighs right at 9lbs as is without scope.
Barrel has just under 300 rounds through it.
Gun shoots 142gr. Sierra matchkings excellent with H4350 at 2900 fps.
I shot this gun in 2 F-class matches at 800-1000yds and I just don't shoot it enough to justify keeping it. My loss is your gain on a great shooting rifle. I will provide load data to buyer. I included a score card from an 800 yard match that I shot with this rifle which I am by no means an expert in F-class and the gun will out shoot me. The barrel channel on the stock was opened up to fit the contour of the custom barrel and is slightly offset which is the only issue with the gun. This could easily be fixed with some bedding compound and is purely cosmetic. I tried to get a picture to show this. The price also reflects this minor issue. I will take $1475 shipped to your FFL CONUS. I also have 1200 142gr Sierra matchkings unopened from 2 different lots for sale separately or could be combined with the rifle.
