I have bought and sold lots here with no issues, I will take check and ship when it clears, zelle or PP FF. Since I didn't post it in my last sale and it was an issue first, I'll take it trumps all PMs. Need FLL.
I bought this with the plan to send it to JES for a rebore to 338-06 or 35 Whelan but plans changed so this is a catch and release.
It is a 270, the bore is mint.
The action is super slick.
It has a crazy nice end well done 3 position safety that functions perfectly and allow quick disassembly of the bolt in the field. The safety alone is at least a $300 job.
Timney Trigger that is adjusted perfectly to 2 lbs
Black McMillan stock, 13-1/4" LOP, standard fill. They haven't made these for Huskys in years and will not in the future. I called mcmillan and they charge $37 for a new Pachmayr pad with spacers of you want the lop longer, honestly though as a 6 foot guy with long arms the 13.25 was perfect with a coat for me and $100 to repaint it any color you want. Last time they would custom lay a Husky stock the cost at Mcm was around 800 finished and shipped.
The stock is bedded at the tang and the lug, it has the safety notch filled in as you don't need it with the 3-position bolt safety
It has the steel vs aluminum bottom metal which is more durable.
Comes with Talley bases.
The cerakote?? or whatever finish it is job is the only negative on the gun, it looks like a home job and needs to be redone, but the metal under it is in great ship.
