Custom built 300 Winchester Magnum, long range target / bench-rest rifle. Build by well-known gunsmith Gary Cleland of Toledo, OH. Built off of a Winchester P14 rifle. Have hand written letter from Gary outlining the build in 1991. Rifle was only shot a few times. Less than 50 rounds fired. It's a beautiful hand crafted rifle. Gary's letter would come with sale of rifle.
Stock is a Fajen, Walnut Prone Stock with Freeland rail installed. Comes with custom one piece Weaver scope base. Action has been heat treated, trued, ears removed and drilled and tapped for scope. Barrel is an ER Shaw 1x10 Twist, Heavy Varmint Contour. Gary took great care cutting this chamber so the headspace would be on the datum line, not the belted rim, to maximize brass life. Has Timiney trigger with cock on open speed lock. Three (3) round mag capacity. Asking $900 + Shipping. Needs to go to Type 01 FFL (not C&R eligible).
The Buyer's receiving FFL must be able to accept rifle shipment from a private individual and by USPS Priority Mail. Not accepting trades or F2F transactions.
