Custom 257 Weatherby Magnum made by Louisiana Bayou Tech Guns. Gun and scope combination was built approximately 15 years ago and is for sale by original owner. Minimal use and kept in climate controlled safe. It has a 22" Hart fluted barrel with a 1-10 twist bedded in a Bell and Carlson stock. It has a Swarovski HABICHT 6X24X50 with Plex Reticle Scope. The gun and scope weighs 11 lbs. It has approximately 120 rounds down the barrel. Seller will pay shipping in continental US to your firearms dealer(FFL) of purchasers choice. $2,900.

Price Reduction to $2600.
It is a full custom rifle, so it is not really equivalent to either model. The action/bolt design is very similar to the Mark V action. The barrel is custom and shots tighter groups with factory ammo then advertised from Weatherby.

The action is indeed a howa action. It may have been gone through and trued but it is is not a mark v. Then chambered in a Weatherby round.
The mark v is a much tougher action that being said you give up no performance because brass will fail way before the action will.
