Finally got ahold of some Reloader 26 and worked a load up. Ended up at 45.9gr in Peterson's brass with a rem 7.5 primer jumping 10. This is running 2820 according to my drops to hit the 655 yard plate. It was 68 degrees yesterday and will be 22 in the morning. I'm gonna go back out in the morning and see if the group holds together at 655. All 5 shots were touching yesterday at 655, it's an impressive combination of it will hold together.

They should really be sweet under R26!! I may have to stoke up my daughters Creedmore just to have some fun but I know she wouldn't be impressed by the recoil in her little Camilla!!

I have some 156 on the way. This sounds like insane performance out of the often defamed CM.

I currently run 147s behind 45.8gr of RL26 in Peterson brass with CCI 450 at a modest 2815fps out of a 26in pipe.

OP, what barrel length are you running?

Ive found that the 156 will run almost as fast as the 147 due to the short bearing surface. In fact, equal charges run pretty close to the same velocity with a slight edge to the 147

26" barrel. Had to go up .2 gr with the 30 degree temp drop to get the same groups. Think I'm just gonna load in the middle at 45.8 and call it good. 4 out of the 5 shots had zero vertical and about 1.5" wide. Had half a mil of wind dialed in so not to shabby.
