The new member @Tommy Miller that replied is not the OP. Just a FYI. We don’t even know what he’s shooting as he’s not the OP. Anyways…. Whatever he’s shooting he should stop. Hopefully the OP checks back in.

I have been ragging on Weatherby about this problem.
Now they tell me that all 6.5 RPM Backcountry rifles do this.
If I have someone bush the firing pin hole it will void the warrenty.
Anyone else out there have a Backcountry 6.5 RPM?
Are you having this problem?
