Converting to 300 PC ?

What is involved in converting a M70 CRF 300 Win mag to 300 PRC ?

I believe the barrel will need to be set back at least .010, to maybe .020 or so.

Or are you talking about a rebarrel?

Why?
The PRC has a slight advantage with heavy VLD's for long range shooting, but I don't see much gained for most hunting applications that would "justify". Not that any of us needs justification, just askin'

No, there shouldn't be any magazine issues. I've built a handful of 338/375 Rugers off of various guns which were formerly belted magnums (300, 7mm, 338) and I've never had any feeding issues.
