Colorado Draw

Just drew a Cow Elk tag for 2nd Rifle for GMUs 6, 171, 16, 17 in Colorado. Would appreciate any insights on those units from those who have hunted them before. Given the rough winter, and the corresponding reduction in tags, I'm happy to have gotten any tag. Thanks in advance!

Congrats from a fellow CO elk hunter. I drew 55 first rifle. Sorry I don't have experience with those units but hope you have good luck.

Dang it--- no notice yet for me--- I might not have gotten a tag

I drew everything except mountain goat and moose. Going to turn in a bear tag and elk tag as my sheep tag is priorities 1-9 out of ten. I will keep the tags drawn off of second choice and try to hunt them if I can.

I got notice! No moose tag again!! 25 yrs now. Very frustrating!
