    Hi all,
New to the forum. Came here to try to learn. I am an accomplished coyote and predator hunter mostly. Do some big game hunting also. Spent some time in the Army and learned how to shoot at extended distances. I'm not much for pissing matches, internet tough guys or contests of who's junk is bigger. I don't feel that I have to have the best gear known to man to go hunt a critter. I run some rim-fires and I have my trusty suppressed Bergara 6.5 Creedmoor that does most of my work. It's topped with a mid priced 4.5-14x scope made by Burris (gotta support the home team). Not the most expensive rifle/optics, but it works, it is accurate and has dunked enough critters. Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction. I hope to meet a bunch of knowledgeable people here and share some hunting stories along the way.

Thanks for the welcome. I have shared some "generic" tips. They have some information, but I also like to mix it up a little and make people laugh too. Life is too short to take everything seriously.

Great tips. Lots of info. Thanks. PS-- Liked your thoughts on shotgun buckshot ammo. Out of all the good calibers out there for coyotes why did you pick the Creedmoor?

Long story short....I am not made of money and I do not have multiple long guns. So I use what I have. I have my Bergara HMR in 6.5 Creed, so it's what I use. I plan on some day purchasing a dedicated coyote stick, but for now, gotta use what I have. It's not exactly fur friendly. Depends on the ammo, engagement distance and if bones get in the way. It can get messy at times.
