Cleaning wax out of screw holes

So I am about to put my rail back on that I just bedded. The holes in the action were well coated(shoved full of carnauba wax. )
Any tips for getting these tiny threads de-waxed? Or Locktite em and go on?

Carb cleaner with nozzle don't get on the stock

I use alcohol with 91% or stronger and a qtip with the fuzzy ends cut off.

91% alcohol and tooth flossing brushes. Best I've found for the small screw holes.

Brake cleaner.
Carb cleaner works too, brake cleaner is specifically designed to cut oils/ degreaser while carb is designed to remove carbon and varnish deposits

I ended up using brake cleaner. I had a can in the house and it was handy.

I use brake cleaner and then compressed air to blow out any missed.
