Cleaning up old antlers??

Anybody know of a good way to clean up some old antlers? I've got some that hung close to a fire and turned almost black from smoke.

Any suggestions appreciated.

I would suggest asking in the taxidermy section and/or on a specalist taxidermist forum.

I know the taxidermist I use, uses Condys crystals to touch up red antlers but how he does it I have no idea.
