Who makes cleaning patches that don't frail apart, and leave threads in the barrel ?
I tried Hoppes, various other no name patches.

Any recommendations out there ?

Brownells are the best imo if your using a Tipton jag set I use this one I like the nickel plating so you don't ever show a false blue with ammonia based copper cleaner such as sweets when using uncoated brass jags.

You can use old "T" shirts. Like if 100% cotton. I use Butch's Patch. Just have to use a smaller Jag. Example if you get 6.5mm patch the use a 6mm Jag. These patches are thick or I have very tight barrels:)

Pro Shot here too.
I also buy rolls of rectangular cotton patch material I cut into the size needed. Like for my big bores which you can't buy the right size for already cut……and yes, it often leaves threads behind.

Cheers.

I use the pro shot patches with Tipton jags. I buy the biggest size and cut them down to the size I need. You can make them fit tight or a little loser for applying cleaners.
