Heading to Montana this year for an elk hunt. In years past we have set up a camper at the clark canyon campgrounds around the reservoir. This year we are wall tent camping. Just wondering if anyone has camped at the reservoir and what your thoughts are on setting up a wall tent at one of the campgrounds on the southern end of the reservoir. How is the wind on that end of the lake?

Depends on which way it is blowing.

Seems like every year we wind up with at least one end event. Make sure you have your ground cloth buried tight and don't short cut any stakes.
