How much deviation for a great load should there be in a long range hunting load??
I shoot a 6.5X284 and a 7 mag the 6.5 has only 11 fps deviation for 20 shots, but my 7 Mag has 14 fps per 20 shots.
Both hold under one MOA at 1,000 Yards for five shot groups with Berger's 6.5 is 140 VLD hunting and the 7 Mag is 180's VLD hunting..

No mater what I seem to change this is as tight as I have got to date..

Yup. That is a pretty good place. Once you get down in that range it's all about consistency and brass prep. I noticed with cci primers that my es would go up if they were set deeper than .006 (read from k&m gauge). Very small changes when you are that low will drive you crazy.

I am always happy with ES in the teens . I shoot will a few F-class guy that are always happy with a 15 fps ES over 20 shots. So you are doing VERY well with 14
