These stocks only work with the Christensen arms bottom metal with out doing inletting

Really? I've heard it's a standard 700 bdl footprint
I have a take off stock I bought recently. Give me until tomorrow and I will take a bdl bottom metal off a 700 and prove this right or wrong tomorrow. I thought the same thing when I bought mine also.

I've done quite a few of them. Had bottom metal and tried to use it on. Remington stock and would t work. Needed in letting. But yes please verify

Couldn't sleep thinking about this so came out to the garage to investigate. Footprint is the same. The difference is the B&C stock I'm comparing against is .050" deeper on the front screw, 0.100" deeper on the rear screw, and the area where the floor plate is has a slight curved cutout to accept the floor plate. The floor plate fits flush with the Christensen stock as is, the ends are not flush with the stock. Pictures for reference. I will cut the factory bedding out of the Christensen stock tomorrow to check internal box fitment and function. Initial verdict is it fits...it's just not flush.

Just not a drop In fit. And worse trying to use their bottom metal on a Remington stock
