Sportsman's has the ridge line on sale for 1750.00 . My question is I have my first suppressor in jail right now and my savage 116
Weather warrior barrel is too thin to thread so
I am thinking about buying one of these. It comes in 24 inch and 26 inch barrel length.
The caliber is going to be 300 win mag
What barrel length should I go with?
Thanks

For a 300wm, I'd always go 26" if you have the option. If you plan to use slow powder and shoot heavy bullets, the 26" is great. I bought a ridgeline with a 24" because I had cash and it was on sale.

Just depends on how long you want your overall length to be once you add the suppressor.
I got a 300 RUM with a 28" barrel and after I add my can I'm 60" from recoil pad to end of suppressor.

Depends on how far you're packing the rifle and what kind of shooting you plan on doing. The extra 2" of barrel isn't going to make or break you velocity wise, maybe 100fps with extreme loads. My next rifle for running a can will be a 16-18" 308win, after playing with short barreled guns running cans I'm ruined.
