Cheap rings are only cheap up front

Besides leaving ring marks, poor fitment, poor design, you could very well end up with this mess. Luckily for me and the owner, I have quality drill bits and low rpm hand drills readily available.

I don't know who manufactured these rings, but the screws sucked. Hardened rust killed 4 drill bits even using Kroil prior to attempting to drill the heads out.
