Had one of my land owners call me complaining about the Coyotes giving his cattle some trouble. Me and a friend set up that afternoon just watching the cattle graze the field. No calling or anything like that. About an hour into it, this yote came walking out of the same tree line that we were in. My friend lazed him at 202yds and my 7mm-08 sent a 150gr SMK right through the chest with a broad side shot. He dropped on the spot and bled out quickly. It was a 30-35lb male.

That's one down. How many to go?

Are the cows calving? That's when yotes are attracted to the easy pickin's.


All ya have to do is go out in the pasture an look like an afterbirth.:D
 
I think they are ready to or just starting. I didn't see any calves yet.


I'm envisioning a ghillie suit made of heavy clear trash bags lightly splotched with read paint. :D
