Can You Remove Cerakote?

I have a set of steel NF rings with Cerakote of them. I would love to return them to the origional finish. I have soaked them completely submerged for 1 hr in some good paint stripper. It didn't even soften it. Is there a way other than media blasting to remove this coating ?

No there is not---that you can apply at least.

Hmmm, ok, well I guess I can get them blasted. Then either recoat them with satin black or blue them. I haven't tried the torch yet either..
